Santa’s Blog.

Santa Alfy Merry Christmas 2018
The Day After Christmas Day:

Ho, ho, ho. Well boys and girls and everyone who’s still a child at heart, Christmas is officially over for me for another year. I’m now back home in the North Pole with my wife Mrs. Claus, Elfie, Chase and Olaf.

As it was a relatively clear night with an almost full moon when I made my rounds, I didn’t need Rudolph this time, and my flight was unhampered and uneventful. As for the rest of my faithful reindeer, Dasher and Dancer, Comet and Cupid, Donner and Blitzen as well as Prancer and Vixen; well they’re all now enjoying some well-deserved rest and recreation, playing with the elves outside in the snow or chowing down on the abundance of carrots all of you left for them.

Now I trust all of you had a wonderful and joyful Christmas morning, not just with lots of toys or gifts, but also time spent with family, friends and loved ones. And let’s not forget, lots of delicious food to eat.
Mrs. Claus and I, along with her son and daughter-in-law attended a wonderful Christmas Mass this morning before we allowed ourselves to open our gifts. It is after all the primary reason we celebrate Christmas; as my Christmas carol; the one I wrote and usually sing at my visitations declares,

“And the story of the star and baby is how it all begun. That’s what Christmas means, every year to me. Celebrating Christmas because of the Nativity.”

After enjoying our sumptuous Christmas feast, I had the privilege of reading the whole Christmas story to the family. Yes, even Santa Claus owns a Bible. Remember, one of my other names and titles .after all is Saint Nicholas. If you still don’t know who I am, Google me. My history is unique and exciting, and sometimes I’ve been known to be somewhat controversial. Santa is not perfect, regardless of what you believe.

But enough about me and history. By now you must be wondering, does Santa Claus get any gifts? Why of course I did! I got a great gift from Mrs. Claus – a new work-bench – so I can expand my toy making area. Trust me, my elves and I can never have enough bench space or tools because the number of children around the world is ever increasing.

I also got a new quill fountain pen and plenty of ink to write down the growing list of new toys we need to manufacture. I use a different pen; perhaps some of you saw Mrs. Claus writing with it when we were recording some of your names into my Nice or Naughty book, including what presents you were hoping for or me. It’s a RED PEN. And did I also mention, I got red socks…ho, ho, ho.

I’m thrilled to announce we had another year without having to record one naughty child into my Nice or Naughty book while I was making my visitation rounds.
For your information, my rounds took me and sometimes the both of us, me and Mrs. Claus to some very fancy private homes. A few times to modest school gyms – to help raise money to purchase new school equipment, or perhaps just merely to promote a business.

There was a fashion retail outlet raising support and awareness for the prevention of inhumane testing of cosmetics on animals; Chase was very supportive of this cause. I would never allow any cosmetic company to test if their products are harmful to any of my reindeer.

I visited a sports complex where young aspiring gymnasts get to train. To my delight, some of these young acrobats performed summersaults and backflips before me. Even I got to bounce on their bouncy runway…but not too high mind you, ho, ho, ho.

Sadly, I went to attend a function in Shelbourne only to discover someone had made a grievous error in booking time. They had wanted me an hour earlier. When I didn’t arrive, they had to scramble and were forced to hire a ‘make-believe Santa!’ It broke my heart, but I’m glad I didn’t happen to walk in and have the children see two Santa’s. How awful would that be!!

I cannot stress it strongly enough, your parents and organizers, always are like Santa and check your list twice!! Markdown both the day, eg, Sunday, Monday, Thursday, etc., along with the date, eg, the 16th, the 24th, the 27th and so on. Give both your company phone number as well as your cell number along with your name so I can confirm our engagement.

The year is quickly coming to an end and hopefully a better, happier and more prosperous new year lies before us. Much of it will depend on you; your attitudes, faith and compassion. It’s up to you to be helpful and kind, not naughty or inconsiderate. Make the world a better place by making yourself a better person.

Until we meet again, everyone here at the North Pole wishes all of you a HAPPY NEW YEAR. See you next Christmas.

Our sincerest love and best wishes for all.

Santa and Mrs. Claus, Elfie and the rest of the elves, as well as Chase and Olaf.

The Grinch at your Christmas Party

This holiday season and with the release of the new movie, our green Christmas villian is more popular than ever. You can have The Grinch at your holiday Christmas party.

The Grinch and Santa Claus

This journey was no easy feat. We travelled high above the Whos on Mount Crumpit were we were greeted by his dog, Max. We asked the man himself who has spent the past 53 years living in seclusion on a cliff overlooking the town of Whoville. When we arrived, we asked if he’d like to work with our entertainment company. He agreed.
Having the Grinch appear at your Christmas party is something almost no one has experienced before.

2018 is the first year we at Stage Entertainment have worked with the Grinch over the Christmas season, and he brings a unique, more adult and playful vibe to your party. After all, how many of your friends and co-workers have been to a Christmas party where their childhood Christmas villains were there?
You know the score! The more festive, happy and the larger the Christmas tree, the more grinchier he becomes. You’ll have to forgive him. his heart is two sizes too small.

Here’s a clip from a party and Grinch appearance from a couple of days ago.

Santa’s Blog.
It twas a month before Christmas.

Ho, ho, ho and joyful seasons greetings from me: Saint Nick, Sinterklaas, Santa Claus, whoever you know me by; to all the worlds wonderful children, as well as those of you who are still children at heart.
The recent weather well south of my home in the North Pole has been, shall we say, ‘strange.’ At first, it’s unusually warm; making me very uncomfortable in my heavy suit. Then it gets extremely cold; which is just how I like it. Then it snows, which is even better; only to be followed by rain, not at all appropriate for this time of the year.

Up here in the North Pole, it’s always dark now and constantly cold, just as it should be for this time of year. Why for the rest of the week our local elf weather station says, it’ll be a comfortable minus 25 Celsius.
This week, I had the wonderful pleasure of being accompanied by Mrs. Claus as we attended a happy event in Woodbridge Ontario. Here’s a picture of the two of us. We both agreed on our way back to the North Pole that this families home was wonderful, festively decorated, making us feel right at home.

Some of you have been asking me what Mrs. Claus and I do after Christmas. Well, we go on vacation like so many of you, and your families do. Even our elves go on vacation. Why, last winter, we thought we’d go to Florida in the United States of America. I do love swimming; which is difficult to do up here in the North Pole, even during the summer months.

I also started exercising on my elf-doctors advice. He told me if I wanted to live past two-thousand years, I had to start eating healthier – fewer cookies, candies, eggnog – as well as get more exercise. At least he didn’t forbid me from having milk and chocolate chip oatmeal cookies (my favourite) during my Christmas night delivery run.

Anyway, the elves and I put up a small gym at the back of the workshop so during breaks we can all take the opportunity to get some additional exercise. Magic is a wonderful thing, but it can only do so much. We all still have to take responsibility for our health, if possible; I can’t merely wish myself to be fit and healthy or smart and rich.
Below is a couple of pictures of me at a pool in Florida and on the treadmill…lots of walking but going nowhere! And as you can see, my favourite colour is always red, ho, ho, ho.

Now, have any of you seen the new Christmas movie yet that’s on a channel called Netflix? It’s titled The Christmas Chronicles, and it stars a wonderful actor named Kurt Russel. Mrs. Claus and I watched it the other night. She was quite amused by how the elves were depicted in the movie, but regrettably, some of our real elves were not!

They thought the movies elves more resembled Gnomes or Gremlins than actually resembling them. I had to reassure our elves that Hollywood always takes ‘license’ with stories and characters to make a story more entertaining. But I do see these elf figurines’ being manufactured in our workshop in the not too distant future. They were adorable when they weren’t angry. Now that I think about it, they did resemble gremlins.

As for Mr. Kurt Russel, I can still remember, so many years ago, when he was a young boy on Disney’s The Mickey Mouse Club. He was a Mouseketeer. My oh my, he’s come a long way. Now he’s portraying me, Santa Claus; only different, ho, ho, as I would’ve looked and dressed perhaps one-hundred and fifty years ago.

I think I still have that style of clothing and furry coat in one of our many wardrobe closets. When you’ve been around for as long as I have, you do tend to collect a lot of stuff, especially Santa suits.

Now I liked how the movie people designed the sleigh. It resembles a classic model Muskoka boat with sleigh-runners. Not exactly my style, but I wouldn’t say no to a ride in it, ho, ho, ho. Most of you will be too young to know what a Muskoka boat looks like, so Elfie; my chief elf suggests you look it up on GOOGLE.

That’s it, for now, girls and boys and everyone in-between. I have to get back to the workshop and maybe even do another mile on the treadmill, ho, ho, ho — fat chance.
So be good, kind and respectful of other boys and girls and keep praying for the spirit of Christmas to cover the whole world. It needs it!

P.S. We have a new member in our crew now. He can be bashful, but most of you already know him. It’s Olaf from Frozen.

Glad tidings and happy wishes
from Santa.
